Steinhauser is a fourth-generation family-owned custom label
and shrink sleeve printer that is 100% woman-owned.

Known for agility, service, and consistency, Steinhauser has a history of being a top supply chain partner. Located in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, we service the Midwest, South and East Coast. We have narrow-web UV flexo and HP Indigo printing capabilities to accommodate short- and long-run orders. We specialize in serving the Beverage, Spirits, Personal Care, and Household markets with pressure sensitive labels and shrink sleeves, in various materials, including papers, films, metallics and foils.

History

Tara is the CEO and sole fourth-generation owner of Steinhauser, a greater Cincinnati, OH premium supplier of printed labels and shrink sleeves for consumer product companies. She has led the company through a total restructuring and rebranding, taking Steinhauser from one customer to close to one hundred. Most recently, Tara made a $3 million investment in a new press and additional shrink sleeve and finishing equipment that has allowed Steinhauser to expand its capabilities and reach.

Ashley Supe
Ashley has her BS in Biology and is a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. With 12+ years of experience, Ashley has been formally trained in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Currently, Ashley is overseeing our Quality department while driving the site-wide initiative for Audit preparedness.

Rod Baehner
Rod has 34 years of professional experience in the Printing Industry. He has a BS in Industrial Management and Graduate Degrees in Business (MBA) and Quality Assurance (MS). He holds professional credentials from ASQ as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and Certified HACCP Auditor (CHA). In addition to leading the Steinhauser Operations Team, he is also Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt and is currently the champion of our CI program.

Belinda is a CPA with 35+ years of experience. She has a passion for process improvement and has been formally trained in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Belinda is our VP of Finance.

Shirley Adams
Shirley leads our customer service team composed of account and project managers. With over 15 years in the printing industry in sales and service, she is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. Shirley holds a BS degree in Organizational Management.

Sandra Winkle
Sandra is responsible for developing and maintaining human resource strategies that attract and retain top-level employment candidates for Steinhauser. With over 25 years of experience in human resource and employee benefits strategy, Sandra leads the work to create and communicate transformational HR initiatives. She is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences to drive the business forward. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a graduate of The Philadelphia Institute, receiving a paralegal certificate from The Institute of Employee Benefit. Sandra earned her SPHR and SHRM-SCP.

Job Description:
Your responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned markets & territories.
  • Establish and build relationships with prospects, and existing customers, by utilizing consultative selling approach.
  • Build trust with high-level contacts within targeted account; identify all stakeholders in decisionmaking process.
  • Understand customer’s overall needs and tailor strategy and solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to align customer needs with internal capabilities.
  • Present solutions and close sales by proposing or providing solutions.

Job Purpose

To be successful in the role, you must lead and own the responsibility of driving profitable business growth within an assigned market and territory.   • Reinforce the company’s leadership position in the marketplace as consultant/partner.
  • Attend and network at appropriate conferences and events.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor’s products and pricing.
  • Provide information to management regarding new technological or service-based needs customers or potential customers.
  • Aid in establishing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal resources to solve customer problems, acting as liaison between customer and internal resources.
  • Provide all criteria for successful transition to Operations - communicate all changes, adjustments, and potential scenarios that could or will have an impact on the customer and consumer expectations.
Strategic Partnership:
  • Responsible for setting and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas in account development and total revenue generated.
  • Establish and report sales metrics; maintain and update CRM tool daily.
  • Forecast sales and assist with business planning.
  • Provide weekly feedback to CEO regarding progress on current business activity and solutions to obstacles preventing progress on goals.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Passionate individual who can deliver an exceptional experience for new and existing customers, every day. A hunger and desire to drive and deliver sales results, using our values as the guidepost. Sales and Marketing experience in consumer-packaged goods industry, a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong time management, project management and organizational skills. Proven success stories in account development. A business-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. A minimum requirement of associates degree or equivalent experience.
